Important: Improvement works on the facilities at the Museum have begun, and may result in some disruptions.

Please Note: During May, building works will be moving up to the Museum floor. Therefore closures and service disruptions may increase. Please check our website, Facebook Page or Twitter feed before visiting this month.

Closures: Room 4 - "Natural History" will be closed from the 7th May until further notice.

Chalybeate Spring flask, about 1700
Chalybeate Spring flask from about 1700. It is made from variegated white and clear Bristol glass. Tourists visiting Tunbridge Wells would have used this to carry the waters from the springs back to their lodgings.
