As you may know, a stage 1 application was submitted to both HLF and Arts Council England (ACE). Both were awarded a stage 1 pass and HLF and ACE gave their permission to proceed with the development stage of the project beginning January 2016. This includes the design and layout of the building which is a major step towards making the project a reality.Key developments:
We have just appointed DCA Consultants as Business Planning Consultant and we are currently in the process of procuring a Lead Architect and Interpretation Designer; all of which should be in post by autumn 2016. These posts are all key to the development of the project and require particular skills to take the project forward.
Jasmine Farram is acting as Project Coordinator until the end of June before the permanent post is recruited for. She previously worked as Visitor Services & Admin Officer at Tunbridge Wells Museum & Art Gallery. She will be working to support the Cultural and Learning Hub team to progress the project.
As a stakeholder you all play an important role in the development of the Cultural & Learning Hub and we look forward to working with you in the future.
